On Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., you’re invited to join the Nashville Farmers’ Market for a free, fun day of everything peachy! We'll have fresh and juicy local peaches, 21+ peach drinks, live music from funk and soul band The Gripsweats, food trucks, a peach cobbler contest, peach-themed crafts and specialty foods, face painting, a kids’ zone and more! Peach cobbler baking contest - the contest is now closed - good luck to our applicants!
Calling all bakers! Do you have a great recipe for peach cobbler? You’re invited to join us for the peach cobbler baking contest during our Peach Jam Festival! Our seasoned judge lineup includes former Mayor David Briley, Vice Mayor Jim Shulman, District 19 councilman Freddie O'Connell and Lilly’s Hot Chicken owner Novanda Lilly. All entries must be homemade and must include the recipe and contact information with it or it will not be accepted. See guidelines and rules below.
You must fill out the form below before Friday, June 14 at 3 p.m. to enter the contest.
A written or typed recipe must be submitted with each entry, along with your name and phone number. This information will not be shared with the judges. Place this information in a ziplock bag and bring it along with your entry.
Bring your cobbler to the space in between the farm sheds and the market house between 11:15 and 11:45 a.m. Late entries will not be accepted.
Participants may enter more than one cobbler.
Please do not bring add-ons to your recipes, such as toppings, ice cream, etc.
Cobblers will be judged on appearance, texture and flavor.
Participants must be present to win. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place, and will be announced on Saturday, June 17.
The first and second place winners will receive a $50 gift card from The Peach Truck!
