BECOME A MARKET HOUSE MERCHANT
The Nashville Farmers’ Market is currently accepting restaurant and retail concept inquiries for inside our market house.
Starting March 2025, the market will have one 500 sq. ft. restaurant space available with a walk in cooler and freezer.
The market is an exceptional location in the urban core of downtown Nashville. Restaurant and retail availability ranges from 200 to 1,500 square feet suitable for restaurants offering unique global cuisine, street food or prepared grab-and-go, plus retail concepts featuring local artists, made-in-Tennessee products and artisan goods.
APPLY NOW
Interested parties should submit the application below for consideration. Once received, a member of our management team will review and schedule a consultation meeting with concepts that meet our qualifications. Such concepts will be presented to the market’s board for review and approval if and when suitable leasing space is available. Approved concepts are required to finance and complete the required build-outs, including design, construction, permitting, plumbing, electrical, appliance installation, materials, signage, etc.
If you would like to discuss your concept idea prior to completing the form, please email our office to schedule an appointment (due to the high volume of inquiries, we are unable to accept walk-ins).
Concept qualifications include:
Demonstrate how the concept aligns with the market’s mission to provide retail space, promotion and training to farmers, food producers and retail entrepreneurs, and serve as a catalyst for a healthy, community–based food system
Demonstrate how the concept diversifies and complements the market’s current offerings of global cuisine and sources, or promotes local and regional products
Demonstrate market readiness to finance the build-out and operate the concept seven days per week within the market’s required hours of operation.
