We’ll do three of the most popular kinds of canning: A Pickle, A Tomato, and A Fruit — Using Seasonal Selections and all illustrating safe preserving techniques, the variety of food that can be preserved, and how to use them in daily recipes from appetizers to entrees.
You’ll receive a complete notebook of instructions and the recipes along with a jar of each product to take home. You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to do canning on your own – ready to stock your pantry for year-round seasonal goodness!

Welcome to Making Healthy Bloody Mary's with Team Green Adventures, NFM & Bliss Holistic
The August version of our monthly nutrition workshop features a nice introduction to making delicous tomato cocktails and juices.
Monthly workshops will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at NFM's Grow Local Kitchen. Registration is requested and below is information about monthly topics!
Better nutrition is a goal that shows up on everyone's to-do list at some point, but sometimes nutrition seems so commercialized, you just don't know what to trust. That's why we've partnered together to bring you a monthly Nutrition Workshop series to help answer some of our most basic nutrition questions, while adding the flare and fun of cooking demonstrations, food tastings and special guests to the agenda.

Difficulty:This is a social, educational workshop designed to introduce participants to a range of nutrition topics.

ABOUT TEAM GREEN'S NUTRITION WORKSHOP SERIES
In partnership with the Nashville Farmers' Market, Team Green's Nutrition Workshop Series hosts a knowledgeable speaker every month to cover information on nutrition and cooking related topics that can be easily transferred into our daily lives in an informal, casual setting. Each presentation is interactive and allows for discussion throughout. Topics will vary month-to-month, and are designed to cover a range of dietary interests. Each workshop is free and includes a roughly one-hour presentation or cooking demonstration with opportunities for questions/answers and engaging with other participants. When possible, workshops will include hands-on elements, samples, and take-home items. All workshops are open to the public!
