Winter Market at the Nashville Farmers’ Market

 

Peak Season has come to a close, and the Nashville Farmers’ Market is launching its new Winter Market with an indoor pop-up inside the Market House this Wednesday, November 16, 2016, from 10 am til 2 pm. Winter Market at the Nashville Farmers' Market will run from November 16 to April 30, 2017, every Wednesday inside the Market House, and every Saturday outside under the Farm Sheds. Our line-up of merchants will include local and regional farmers, ranchers, milk producers, artisan cheese makers, food artisans, crafters, and flea merchants. Local food trucks will be on-site both days. The Market House, as well as a handful of farmers and other participating merchants under the Farm Sheds, will remain open seven days a week

 

Winter Wednesdays Pop-Up

Winter Wednesdays at the Market will feature 8 to 10 merchants retailing what they grow, make, bake, and raise inside the Market House from 10 am to 2 pm. This Wednesday, November 16, 2016, shoppers can choose from freshly harvested fall and winter produce; locally raised steaks, chops, and sausages from Walnut Hills Farm; pimento cheese, biscuits, and gougères by Professor Bailey's Spicy Pimento Cheese; selections of honeys from Tennessee Artisan Honey Bar; olive oils and balsamic vinegars by Galena Garlic Nashville; and Remedy Bone Broth

 

 

 

Winter Market Saturdays

Every Saturday, the Market will feature a larger, more expansive shopping experience with more than 40 merchants retailing outside under the Farm Sheds from 8 am to 2 pm. Hot beverages such as cocoa and teas made with locally grown herbs will be provided by Reggie's Farm Produce. Shoppers will find greens such as kale, collards, turnip greens, and Swiss chard; lettuces and micro-greens; sweet potatoes, red potatoes, and baking potatoes; broccoli; plus root vegetables such as carrots, beets, and turnips. 

 

Winter Night Markets

Due to the chilly temperatures, Winter Night Markets will become indoor-only events beginning this Friday, November 18th, through April, 15, 2017. This Friday at Night Market, shoppers can pre-order holiday pies like Bourbon Pecan from Linda Gablein and Sweet Potato and Carrot Cake from Reggie's Farm Produce. Sip on spiked Cranberry Apple Hot Cider, or snag a fall-inspired craft brew from The Picnic Tap. Lyft will be on-site giving shoppers promotional codes for discounted, warm rides home.
