Festa Junina at the Nashville Farmers’ Market

The Market House at the Nashville Farmers’ Market is home to restaurateurs and cuisine from all over the world, including Mexico, India, China, Japan, Jamaica, the Middle East, Ethiopia, Laos,  Venezuela, the Philippines and Columbia.  On Saturday, April 1 we welcome Brazil to our global community when we host Festa Junina! Presented by the Center for Latin American Studies at Vanderbilt University, Festa Junina is a traditional Brazilian harvest celebration and where better to recreate a celebration of the harvest than the Nashville Farmers’ Market? The family-friendly event is free and open to the public----wherever you’re from---and includes music, dancing, samples of Brazilian food from Café Mineiro Bakery & Café, a cooking competition, photo booth and children’s activities. Festa Junina takes place in the Market House from 11 am- 2 pm.

Vem celebrar Festa Junina com o Centro de Estudos Latinoamericanos de Vanderbilt University! Fantasias, jogos, a barraca do beijo, quadrilhas e comida brasileira! Por favor, confirme a sua presença!
