Become a Merchant

We hope you will join us in 2012 at the Nashville Farmers’ Market as we complete our transformation to become the southeast’s premiere public market and an irreplaceable asset to our surrounding agricultural community. We see our mission as two-fold:  supporting food and farming in TN and beyond, and providing a venue as a local incubator —offering approved local businesses an opportunity to grow without the expenses of construction, large staffs, etc. and joining  in community with other local business owners. 

Farm Side

We are always seeking new farmers, artisans, and crafters who are looking for an opportunity to join our NFM community.  If you grow it, make it, bake it, or raise it we'd love to hear from you.   We are currently waitlisting produce, and/or plant and flower retailers whose product does not derive from their own farm, hands, etc. unless their product is of a food-specific nature or it could be sold on the flea market side.  Contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and provide your information (what you'd like to sell, what days of the week, etc.).  

Market House

In 2012, Nashville Farmers Market is interviewing businesses with new and exciting food concepts for our interior renovated spaces. Prospects must present business and design plans to be approved by the Market director and Board. We are currently looking for restauranteurs, artisan food producers and culinary entrepreneurs. Some examples of the types of establishments we hope to offer to customers in the future are:  butcher shop, fresh pasta, bakery, meats,  speciality cheese shop, flower shop for cut flowers & more.  Contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with a general description of your business & projected space needs.  In 2012, NFM is expanding selling opportunities to include food-oriented temporary merchant that set up inside the Market House.   We currently have a waitlist for Saturdays, however, other days of the week are avaialble and have customers who would love to shop with you!  Click on the link to download the Artisan Application & indicate your interested in the Market House. 

Flea Market

The Market is seeking arts & crafts producers and retailers to expand the amount of hand-made and unique items offered at our weekly flea market along with resellers presenting unique products & product categories.  Selling days are Friday-Sunday all year round.  Contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with a general description of your business.
